His career has been a testament to his commitment to finding innovative solutions for both uninterrupted and interrupted traffic flow scenarios.

Hossam boasts a diverse portfolio of traffic studies across his career, showcasing his ability to excel in various roles within both the Public and Private sectors. Notably, he made significant contributions as the Freeway Program Manager for FDOT District IV, where he effectively oversaw the operation of major Florida interstates, spanning five Counties. His strategic leadership played a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of these vital transportation corridors.

During his tenure as a Senior Traffic Engineer at Atkins, Hossam lent his expertise to support the Miami-Dade 300 location ATMS pilot project, providing invaluable CEI services. This demonstrated his proficiency in handling intricate projects in the transportation sector.

Furthermore, as the Senior Systems Engineer at Yunex Traffic (formerly Siemens), Hossam assumed a leadership role, guiding a proficient team in the migration of signal control databases from legacy systems to the advanced Yunex system. This monumental undertaking was a key component of the Miami-Dade ATMS project, which encompassed the upgrade of an impressive 3000 signalized intersections.
